Today I'm going to be doing very much. I'm going to be hanging out on the couch until I go to the doctor at 3pm. I'm going to get those apps filled out so I can turn those in tomorrow or Thursday.
I just had my monthly visit 2 weeks ago and here is another one. I don't know what is going on with that. Chad had to go into Oklahoma City to his new doctor. He's going to an Arthritis specialist. I'm hoping they can help him with his degenerative arthritis in his spine and neck. I started my new book last night. So far it's been good. I hope it ends good too. I hate books that start out good and then turn boring or so bad you just put it down and walk away. Which happened with my last read "The Reading Group". I hope you all have a wonderful day today!!
Chad and I decided to go to Chilis this evening. I wasn't all that hungry but ended up with cheese cake. Chad had the wings with blue cheese. I'm not a fan of blue cheese. We both had a beer, we don't drink very often. I know, beer and cheese cake are not the best pairings *lol* The cheese cake was after the beer *lol*. It was really nice to go out together :o) Surprisingly Chilis wasn't packed.
Afterwards we went to wally world and I grabbed some make-up, fruit and got a couple of tee shirts. One is for St. Patricks day. We're going out with some friends that night. Then we went to Hastings and I bought a used book and a Vouge magazine. The book is "Bookends" by Jane Green. Now we're home getting ready for a new work week. Have a good night!
It was so dull and I just put it down and started on another book. I may go back and try to pick up where I left off in the other one. I started and finished Tales of A Drama Queen, now I'm reading the sequel True Lies of A Drama Queen. It's been a fun read! The language is a bit harsh at times, but it's not on every page.
I was so glad to get this book finished. It wasn't boring or anything. In fact it was a good read. I however, hate it when people start telling a story and then get side tracked from telling it and start on another subject, and then go back and finish the story they had started. Drives me crazy! That's the this book was...so I admit I skipped a few paragraphs to get back on track. That really drove me nuts! That's why it took me longer to read it, I didn't want to pick
the book up. So now I'm reading "The reading Group" by Elizabeth Noble. I'll start reading it this afternoon or tonight. Chad and Brad will be gone until 2-3am for the concert. It's just going to be Josh and I here. While I'm out this afternoon I'm going to pick us up something for supper tonight. Probably some subs and some chips. Chad will be home for lunch in a few. Gotta go!I woke up this morning and decided I didn't want to get around and head out with my camera so early. Plus it will be warmer this afternoon. So I'll go to the University after Chad's lunch. Tomorrow we're taking Tucker to the dog park. I'm not sure what else we'll do. I've almost finished reading my book. It's been good, but not as good as I had hoped. The writer tends to get off subject quite often and even mentions that in her book. I should have it finished today. I hope you have a great weekend!!
I managed to get dressed and went into work after a quick trip to the library. I got some new reads *yea* I tried to work on my mods at work but they were having classes in the computer lab. Instead I visited with my boss Toby, and my scheduler Amanda. I cleaned out my mail slot and discovered that I had to get my TB test, Hep B, shot, or else. By the time 2:30 rolled around I was hurting really bad and out of what little energy I had. It was a gorgeous day here. 73 was the high, I did drive over by the University (of Oklahoma) It's such a beautiful campus, and full of energy. I came home, changed, and took Tucker out for a quick walk. Now I'm on the couch with my feet up. I am worn out!
I did buy some multi vitamins for women and I hope they will boost my energy soon! This sucks!
The books I got today are....
Chad is feeling so much better. So much better in fact, he went to work this morning. I need to re wash the bed sheets since Chad was sick. So far I haven't gotten it *Fingers Are Crossed*
It's cold, and icy here today. It will be like this until Saturday. Come on spring!!! I need sun and warmth. It's just me and Tucker snuggled up on the couch keeping warm. I dread having to take him out later...Brrr!! Brad and Josh just left for work and school. They will be leaving tomorrow at noon to leave for drill weekend. They will need to pack tonight for the weekend. It will be just Chad and me the whole weekend :o) Peace and quite *woot* I want to go to the library Saturday and check out some new books. I have my list ready :o) Not much else going on here. Just another cold, boring day. Take care everyone!!
This one took me longer than normal. It was good but nothing like the first one I read. Now I'm reading "When Madeline Was Young" by Jane Hamilton. This one should be interesting. Madeline is in a bike accident and it leaves her with the mind of a 6 year old, Aaron her husband re marries and his second wife has to care for Madeline. Hmmm!!
I am so sick of feeling like this! I have zero energy. I only get off the couch to use the bathroom, and just doing that zaps me. I'm feeling like I'm trying to get a bug or something on top of it. I'm also starting to feel depressed. It could from still feeling so bad and recovering from the surgery. It may also be that I've been thinking about my job. I hate working at the hospital and really, REALLY, want to go back to working in assisted living centers. I've tried to explain this to Chad, but he wants me to stay with the hospital. Ugh! Onto another topic...I did start another book last night. I started reading The Things We Do For Love by Kristin Hannah. I'm only 2 or 3 chapters into it but so far it's good. Another good author is Gwen Kirkpatrick, her books are amazing.
I got to leave the town house today! I went to the library and to Wal~Mart to grab some stuff we needed. I still can't drive myself so Josh drove me. I hate not being able to drive!! The library here is very nice. It's huge! What blew me away was the amount of people that were there. In our old town (Much smaller town) I would go to the library and never see another soul, except for the librarian. I love books and enjoy reading so much. I only got 4 books. I was slowly going down hill when I got in there. I just don't have the energy that I once had. I hope this is not a permanent thing. I've been on this couch resting and taking it easy for over a week now, and I still can't do things I need to or want to. When Josh and I were Wal~Mart getting groceries I was so weak and dizzy I could not stand it. Thank God I listened to Chad and didn't fight Josh going with me. I'm home now, back in my sweats and resting on this stupid couch :o/ I am so thankful to have gotten out though. It's a beautiful day here in central Oklahoma :o) I'm not sure which book to start on first. All 4 look really good. Here are the 4 I grabbed.
